Primitive coaling of a tank engine at Bournemouth on 5th July 1958. The Locomotive Yard was always a sight of interest from the west end of the Down platform at Bournemouth Central. Here ex-LSWR Drummond class M7 no.30108 (built March 1904, withdrawn May 1964) is being coaled by a crane lifting coal from wagon and dropping it - with difficulty? - in then engine's bunker.
